Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Scope and Contracting Party
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through this shop. The contracting party is
Custom Tesla UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Neudorfer Str. 1
79541 Lörrach
Germany
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. A business is anyone who acts in the exercise of their trade, business, or profession.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. By submitting your order, you make a binding offer.
After we receive your order, we will send you an acknowledgment of receipt by email without delay. This acknowledgment merely confirms that we have received your order and does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer.
The contract is concluded once we expressly declare acceptance, ship the goods, or — in the case of installation services — begin performance. If you pay in advance, acceptance is deemed declared at the latest when your payment method is charged. Upon acceptance, you will receive an order confirmation containing the terms of the contract and the withdrawal instructions.
We store the text of the contract. You can view your order details at any time via the order confirmation. There is no customer account; you can order without registering.
The ordering process is available in German or English. Before submitting your order, you will see a summary of your entries and can correct them using your browser's back buttons or the steps in the checkout.
§ 3 Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices include statutory value-added tax. The applicable tax rate is shown separately in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation. Any additional shipping costs are shown during the ordering process before you submit your order; an overview can be found on our Shipping page.
For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT, and handling fees may apply. These are borne by you in addition to the price; we do not charge them.
§ 4 Payment
Payment processing is handled by Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, Netherlands. Available payment methods are shown during the ordering process and may vary depending on the delivery country. You enter your payment details directly with Mollie — we do not see them.
The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract. If you do not complete the payment process, the order initially remains open; we will send you one reminder by email and release the reserved goods after 24 hours. For payment methods with a longer processing time — such as bank transfer — we wait correspondingly longer.
§ 5 Delivery and Installation
We deliver to the countries selectable during the ordering process. Unless stated otherwise in the product description, we ship items in stock within two business days after conclusion of the contract. Delivery time information is a non-binding approximation unless we have committed to a fixed deadline.
Shipping is carried out by DHL. As soon as your package is on its way, you will receive an email with the tracking number and a link to track your shipment.
For products requiring installation, we will arrange an appointment with you after the contract is concluded. We carry out installation services at our locations or — where offered — at your premises; travel costs are shown during the ordering process and are based on distance.
If an item is out of stock, we will inform you and agree whether to split the order or deliver it together.
§ 6 Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until paid in full.
§ 7 Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, exceptions, and the model withdrawal form can be found in our Withdrawal Instructions.
§ 8 Warranty
Statutory provisions on liability for defects apply. For used goods, the limitation period vis-à-vis businesses is one year from delivery.
Please note that modifications and retrofits to vehicles may affect the vehicle manufacturer's warranty. Claims against the manufacturer are governed solely by their terms.
§ 9 Product Safety
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety, you will find information on the manufacturer or responsible person within the European Union, as well as any warning and safety notices, on the respective product page. If any information is missing, please contact us at hello@custom-tesla.com — we will provide it before you place your order.
Parts intended for installation on vehicles may affect the operating permit. Whether a part requires registration or comes with an approval is stated in the product description. Installation is at your own responsibility unless we carry it out ourselves.
§ 10 Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation — one whose fulfillment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on which you may regularly rely — and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract at the time it was concluded. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
§ 11 Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG). The former European Commission platform for online dispute resolution was discontinued as of July 20, 2025.
§ 12 Accessibility
Information on the accessibility of this shop and how to report any barriers to us can be found in our Imprint.
§ 13 Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
